What has drawn me to committees and boards: I've asked myself that question quite a bit, I think some of it has to do with, and I don't know where it came from, but if you live in a community, wherever you are, part of whatever you're doing should be part of trying to make it better or more fun or the kind of place that you want to be and want others to join you. Birds love them and it is party time once they are ripe. How I became involved with Summer of the Arts Board of Directors: I went ahead and spent some time in a couple of the festivals, Arts Fest and Jazz Fest, working in the first aid tent and began finding out a little bit more about the organization. I think the Children's Museum is an awesome place and continues to be one. When they received it, it was just tipping the top of a coffee can, but now towers over the house.
